Ballet & Tap & Jazz | Level 3 | 9-11
Ballet & Tap & Jazz | Level 3 | 9-11
Students in this 90 minute combo class continue to practice ballet and tap and are introduced to the world of jazz. Ballet teaches students strength, grace and discipline while tap teaches musicality and timing. Though there are many forms of jazz dance, our style is rooted in ballet technique and incorporates syncopated rhythm, broken movements, isolations, and tricks. These styles create a great foundation which is why we encourage all of our students to take a ballet combo. Flexibility becomes even more important as students get older and try more advanced movement so we put a little more emphasis on stretching at this level as well.
Students who are in the Level 3 class are also invited to take a Acro, Pom, Musical Theater and Hip Hop. If taken in addition to the ballet/tap combo, these classes are offered at a discounted rate.
This class is $880 for the year (or $110 per month for 8 months). This price includes weekly rehearsals from September-May and three recital costumes.
