Students in this 60 minute class practice advanced ballet technique. Dancers at this level are required to take ballet, and may add tap, jazz, and lyrical. These dancers are also strongly encouraged to join our pointe program to further advance their ballet technique. These dancers are also eligible for our NEW contemporary class!

At this level students have mastered basic ballet steps. We focus now on perfecting technique such as body alignment, turn out, and artistry. The typical ballet class structure is used as our guide for class which is split into four main segments: barre, center, adagio, and allegro.

Students must audition to be a part of this class. Please speak to an instructor to inquire about an audition.

The price for Junior Line ballet is $60. Additional Junior Line or add-on classes are priced based on the number of classes taken. Please refer to the tuition page for more details.

*Age/Experience: Students in this class are 12-16 years old and are accepted into this level based off of an audition. Please reach out if your dancer is interested in auditioning for a Line!

*Dress code: A leotard and tights must be worn for ballet. Ballet skirts are optional. Undergarments should not be worn under dancewear. Hair must be pulled up in a ponytail, braid or bun.

*Shoes: Ballet shoes are required for this class. Shoes should be purchased at Bobby’s Dancewear.

Adding a class online will reserve a spot in your selected day/time for $5/class. This $5 acts as your registration fee.
